The University of California is celebrating the launch of The Center for Climate, Health and Equity with a series of live virtual events on May 25 and 26, 2022.

Over the course of two days, top climate and health leaders will discuss opportunities for building healthy and equitable communities and a healthier planet for future generations. Please register here to receive Zoom invites for individual events.

The opening event includes Angela Mooney D’Arcy, Founder and Executive Director, Sacred Places Institute for Indigenous Peoples; UC President Michael Drake, MD; and UCSF Chancellor Sam Hawgood, MBBS, along with an impressive line-up of climate scientists, health practitioners, and policy makers.

The Center for Climate, Health and Equity is a University of California system-wide initiative. Its mission is to generate and uplift climate solutions through four pillars of action: research, education, policy, and health systems.
