American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy

UCSF bioengineer Tejal Desai, PhD, will receive the 2012 Paul R. Dawson Biotechnology Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) at the group’s annual meeting in July.

Three UCSF School of Pharmacy scientists, Paul R. Ortiz de Montellano, PhD; Christopher A. Voigt, PhD; and James A. Wells, PhD have been recognized for their outstanding research.

Kathy M. Giacomini, PhD, UCSF School of Pharmacy scientist, received the 2005 Paul Dawson Biotechnology Award in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 10, 2005 from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). The award recognizes exceptional teaching and research in biotechnology.

Irwin (Tack) D. Kuntz, PhD, professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, UCSF School of Pharmacy has been named the 2003 Volwiler Research Achievement Award recipient by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
